Specifically designed for some recent RENAULT vehicles (Renault, Dacia, Samsung) marketed since 2018 and fitted with Gasoline and Diesel engines requiring a Renault RN17 approved oil.
Since the RN17 standard is backward compatible, MOTUL SPECIFIC 17 5W-30 also covers the requirements of the RN0710 and RN0700 standards and can therefore be used on older engines that require these standards.
For non-RN17 compatible Diesel engines, that is to say up to September 2018 (Euro 6d-Temp standard), use only an RN0720 approved lubricant such as MOTUL SPECIFIC 0720 5W-30.
Compatible for DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction), catalytic converters and GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filter).
May be unsuitable for use in some engines.
